I spent the morning reading about digital art. I have a really good book on the subject I got almost ten years ago that somehow ended up on a shelf unread. I am reading it now at least. I spent the afternoon doing some research on GIMP to learn how to make paintings with that program. I found some things out from a book I bought on that a couple years back. I'm a bit of a book collector actually.

I am going through the digital art here on DA and looking for some works to add to my favorites. There is some really nice stuff here and I will be adding more to my gallery. I have some ideas for doing some digital paintings myself on this computer. Today is a day of research and I want to look at what other people are doing with the various programs out there. Like I said yesterday, I think digital is the way to go with art as it's so easy to distribute and promote.
